# Terms

> Terms for evaluating and operating Towbar.

Towbar is open source software distributed under the Apache License 2.0 and is
under active development. Availability, hosted documentation, and data
compatibility are not guaranteed.

Review releases before production use. Do not grant broader GitHub, AWS,
Cloudflare, or server permissions than the documented deployment requires. You
are responsible for the infrastructure, credentials, repositories, workloads,
backups, and recovery procedures used by your installation.
